American Professional Boxer Deontay Leshun Wilder, has the honor of celebrating the WBC heavyweight award from 2015 to February 2020. Hence, he was the first American who held this title for nine years, the first time in history. According to Boxrec, he was also declared as the second-best most active heavyweight boxer, and according to The Ring and Transnational Boxing Rankings Board.
He didn't start in his fresh years, rather he started almost twenty years of age. In the 2008 Olympics, as he was a beginner he won the bronze medal in the heavyweight sector. Due to this bronze award, he became famous as the "The Bronze Bomber", which was the name he earned after Joe Louis, who was the previous Brown bomber.
